Mar. 03, 1958 - African Students hold Demonstration March in London. Kanyama Chiume, the only one of Nyasaland Nationalist leaders to escape last week's mass arrests, yesterday led a demonstration march of African students through the streets of London. The demonstration demand the release of Dr Hastings Banda, leader of those rounded up during recent Nyasaland disturbances. Photo shows one of the demonstrators with a leopardskin covered drum during the parade in London yesterday. About 1, 000 Africans took part
