Oct. 10, 1970 - Demonstration Against The Maxi and Midi in Stockholm: A demonstration against the Midi and Maxi dress length look was held in Stockholm. The leader of the campaign was Actress Leena Skog aged 19. Seven girls and many older men with cameras joined in the procession at Sergels Torg, a square in the centre of Stockholm. After the protest march, Leena Skog addressed the crowd protesting against the fashion designers and their manipulation of women. She prefers the mini as if you didn't know.
