Demonstration by merchants and artists, Paris

Sep. 13, 1969 - The demonstration held by merchants and artists today in the public eye was forbidden by Maurice Grimaud, the Chief of Police. The professionals met at the Parc des Princes and were directed by M Gingembre, a general representative of a Small Business Association. After the meeting, demonstrations were provoked by the UNCAP and UNATI and were led by President Bernard Fauliot. The demonstrations quickly turned violent.
