Apr. 25, 1966 - Protest Demonstration In London: A demonstration outside the Law courts in London today, was staged by more than 200 women and in West Malling, Kent. The demonstrators sat on the pavement as the High court began considering an eviction action brought by Kent County Council against one of the residents, Mrs. Jean Deniles. The demonstration was organised by be the Friends of King Hall, and a spokesman said We are protesting against the eviction order, This is a test case and if the council wins and Mrs. Daniels is forced to leave, about 15 other families will be thrown out on to the streets.
