Demonstration in Port of Lorient, Brittany, France
Jul. 07, 1964 - A Regatta? No, A Demonstration. About a hundred yacht men had an appointment in the port of Lorient. There was no regatta, but a demonstration. The yacht men wanted to protest against the lack of adequate harbour facilities. After making quite a lot of noise, the demonstrators paraded during half an hour in the port watched by curious inhabitants, then went back to their point of departure.
