Demonstration of reduction photoscope for office copying

The Reduction Photoscope: A new British Invention - the Reduction Photoscope - which has just been perfected will revolutionise office copying. The Reduction Photoscope has been developed by technicians of Gestetner Ltd - and it marries photographic and stencil duplicating processes to reproduce any written, printed, drawn or photographed matter from the original in a few minutes. The Photoscope photographically transfers the image from the original directly onto a stencil with no intermediary process involved. The secret of its perfection lies in the method whereby the image can be reproduced or enlarged to the size required by the operator. Maximum degree of reduction or enlargement is 1.8 : 1. Enlargements in proportion can be made up to a maximum of 16 1/2 x 13'. The copy holder will accommodate originals up to 11 1/4 x 29 1/4'.
