Demonstration in support of the homeless, London
Dec. 12, 1968 - Girl Dressed As The Queen Leads Demonstration To Buckingham Palace Over the Homeless: Bernadette Connolly 21, who is a clerk, and comes from Kilburn, lead a demonstration to Buckingham Palace this afternoon, dresses as the Queen, to demand its take-over to help towards the homeless problem. The Demonstration is run by The London Young Communists. They say that the Palace could house 1, 000 homeless families.
