Demonstration in support of Soviet Jewry outside TASS office
Dec. 12, 1971 - Demonstration outside offices of TASS: The 35's Women's Campaign for Soviet Jewry, today staged a demonstration outside the the Tass News Agency offices and Russian trade offices in Gotch House, St Bride Street, London. Women dressed as convicts stood behind a barbed wire fence erected on a truck on which was a giant head of Mr Brezhnev and shouted out How would you Russians like to be behind a wire fence, and Brezhnev is a prisoner of Russia, etc. Photo shows scene during today's demonstration outside the office of the Tass News Agency
