Oct. 28, 1976 - Demonstrations Near The Soviet Embassy In London As Soviet Leader Boris Ponomarev Arrives For Visit: Boris Ponomarev, the 71-year-old Stalinist hardliner involved in the crushing of Hungary and Czechoslovakia, arrived in London today for a six-day visit at the invitation of the Labour Party National Executive as head of a Soviet Academy of Science delegation. There were demonstrations against the visit by members of the Women's Campaign for Soviet Jewry when Mr Ponomarev arrived at the Russian Embassy in London today.
