Dec. 12, 1953 - Miners protest at the house: 180 South Wales miners ans union officials went to the houses of commons today to lobby M.P.s. The man went clause 62 of National Insurance act amended. It provides for benefits based on means. Many disabled miners, who sayd their incomes have been reduced as a result, were in the deputation.
