Police use fire hoses.: There were riots in the streets of Brussels during the week-end when some 30, 000 Catholics laid seige in the centre of the city in protest against the proposed cut in the schools subsidy. More than 1, 500 arrest were made. All Army leave has been cancelled and people from the outskirts were prevented from entering the city.
