1958 - H-Bomb Campaigners Continue Their 45-miles trek to Aldermaston in Wintry Weather: After staying at Maidenhead overnight the 600 Ban the H-Bomb marchers, all that remains of the 5, 000 who started from Trafalgar Square on Good Friday, continued their protest march on the next stage of their journey to reading. They are expected to reach their destination, the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment at Aldermaston, Berkshire, on Monday.
