May 05, 1958 - Disturbance at May day Rally. Students demonstrated outside st. Pancras Town Hall today - May Day - carrying union Jacks, after the Socialist -dominated council had hoisted the Red Flag over the building. There was a disturbance during a May day rally near the Town Hall, and Councillor John Lawrence, the Socialist Leader of St. Pancras council, was dragged from his platform by Police. Police also removed two other man. Photo shows Two women are led away by police, during today's disturbances
