Oct. 10, 1958 - Union Leader Jim Mattews holds mass meeting of Strikers in the B.O.A.C. dispute: Mr. Jim Mattews, the union leader and spokeman for the trade unions in the London Airport dispute, this afternoon addressed a mass meeting of the B.O.A.C. strikers at London Airport. They later decided to stay out on strike until the employers agree to meet essential requirements.
