Sep. 09, 1958 - Police break up meeting at St. Pancras town hall. Students today demonstrated outside St. Pancreas Town Hall today - May Day - carrying Union Jacks, after the Socialist-dominated council had decided to hoist the Red Flag over the building. Police broke up a meeting and made arrests. Photo shows CILR. John Lawrence, Leader of St. Panoras Council, being marched away by police, after he had puled down form his stand and arrested, whilst addressing a meeting outside St. Pancras Town Hall
