Dec. 12, 1957 - Italian players attacked after Northern Ireland v. Italy match at Belfast: At the end of yesterday's friendly match at Windsor Park, Belfast, which ended in a 2-2 draw the crowd rushed on to the field and attacked the Italian players. The match was to have been a World Cup match but the referee did not turn up. Photo shows The Italian centre-half, Ferrari, surrounded by Irishmen goes stumbling to the ground.
