Aug. 06, 1959 - 6-8-59 Typists hold protest march in Whitehall Typists representing 30, 000 typists in Government offices who are disappointed because the Treasury have refused to improve on a pay offer which means cuts in top rates, this morning held a protest march in Whitehall. Civil Service Union leaders decided after new talks had broken down to take their case to arbitration.
