Nov. 11, 1958 - 110 Firework Rioters Arrested in London Trafalgar Square battle with Police: More than 90 youths and girls were arrested last night after a Guy Fawkes riot in Trafelgar Square, when screaming teenager, Teddy Boys, and students defied a ban on fireworks. Police with linked arms cleared the square, while mounted men, ridding stirrup to stirrup, advanced down Northumberland Avenue, forcing the shrieking crowd on to the Embankment. Bangers were thrown under the horses and police frog - marched the arrested people off, and ten injured people were treated in hospital.
