Feb. 26 August 13th, 1970 Iranian students stage hunger strike Eleven masked Iranian students last night began a 48-hour hunger strike outside St. Martin-in-the-Fields, in protest against alleged torture and killing of political prisoners in Iran. The students taking part are members of the Iranian Student Society in Great Britain, part of the World Confederation of Iranian Students.
