Dec. 12, 1961 - Bishops Lead Torchlight Procession For London's Homeless: The Bishop of London (the Right Rev. R.W. Stopford) and the Bishop of Southwark (the Right Rev. Mervyn Stockwood) this evening lead a torchlight procession from St. Paul's Cathedral to Southwark Cathedral for a carol service for London's homeless. Its purpose is to urge the people of London to dor what they can, in the spirit of Christmas, to help the families without homes.
