Feb. 02, 1961 - RIOTS IN CAIRO OVER DEATH OF LUMUMBA. The death of Mr. Patrice Lumumba brought a wave of protest from both regions of the United Arab Republic, and on Wednesday in Cairo, University students and Arab workers demonstrated in the main streets, shouting slogans against the murder of Lumumba.
