Mar. 03, 1961 - Demonstrator Squats on Nuclear Sub's Tailfin. An anti Polaris demonstrator sat above the waves on the tailfin of America's nuclear submarine Partick Henry for 45 minutes yesterday in the Holy Loch. He stayed there until he was taken off by Police. He was one of the three Commandos who boarded the vessel in defiance of warnings to keep clear. One of the men was pulled from a cance - up the side of the submarine by a sailor and then slumped into Passive resistence drill. The second went alongside the sub and was pulled aboard the third sat on the tailfin. Photo shows one of the demonstrators sitting on th submarine's tailfin in the Holy Loch Yesterday
