Feb. 02, 1963 - LANGUAGE BATTLE'-ENDS WITH A FEW SORE-HEADS.. POSTES ON THE POST OFFICE. Trefechan Bridge, Alberystwyth-was yesterday the scene of a Language Battle-when students from BANGOR-CARDIFF-MERTHYR and PONTYPRIDD joined a local contingent to consider the best way of restoring the Language of Heaven'-the Welsh Language to Wales..They placed posters all over the town-including the Police Station-and they staged a sit-down on the Bridge..They were moved by police and motorists-after a number of skirmishes..
