Aug. 08, 1962 - Toddlers March To Demand Playground: More than fifty Children marched to their town hall yesterday to ask for a playground. Ages ranging from tow to ten years, they started at their home on the Boundary Estate, Shoreditch, and ended at Bethnal Green Town Hall. On Sunday, they formed a human chain across the estate's play street to stop cars getting on. The town Clerk promised that the council would look into the request. Photo Shows We want the mayor!
