Dispute With Normal Cabbie In fleet Street.: The fleet of 200 Dauphine Minicabs owned by Welbeck Motors - and backed by millionaire Isaac Wolfson went into operation in London this afternoon - in opposition to the London Taxi Cabs.. The Minicabs are not allowed to ply for hire - but are booked and detailed by radio telephone there was an incident in fleet street when a dispute arose between a minicab driver and a taxi driver.Photo shows The scene in Fleet Street as Policeman intervene to try to settle the dispute between the Minicab and the Taxicab drivers - this afternoon
