May 22, 1961 - Anti-Polaris Canoe Commandos - Swamped From Ships Side: The United State Navy Went into action yesterday with fire hoses - water from six jets aboard the the Polaris missile ship Proteus beat off a Commando raid by anti-nuclear demonstrators in cances.
