Dec. 12, 1960 - Nuclear tax refusal declaration handed in to treasury.: A declaration of intention to withold in the coming financial year - a proportion of income tax equivalent to nuclear defence - was handed in to the Treasury this morning by some of its 21 signatories - including Arnold Wesker and George Melly. A poster parade organised by the Committee against Tax for Nuclear arms - was held outside the Treasury at the same time.
