May 13, 1963 - Ban The Bomb Demonstrators Arrested: 350 Police had to be used to disperse hundreds of demonstrators organised by the Committee of 100 who carried out an invasion of the R.A.F. V-Bomber at Marham in Norfolk. 80 demonstrators were arrested and dealt with at a temporary court, and 20 were sent to prison for refusing to pay their fines.
