Sep. 25, 1962 - ANTI - PARKING SIT -DOWN IN EUSTON. Housewives in Tolmers Square, Euston, brought chairs from their homes yesterday, planted them outside their houses and sat down - in protest against cars which park on the pavement and which, the residents claim, are a danger to children. Led by Mrs. ROSIE GAVIN, secretary of the the Tolmers Square Tenant's Assocciation, the women sat in the street the whole day to stop the cars parking. PHOTO SHOWS: CHAIRS in the square
