Aug. 08, 1965 - Riots in Athens. New Premier visits scene in riots.: Serious incidents took place in various parts of Athens on Saturday night, when organised groups of demonstrators blocked roads roads and started fires in the streets with large barrels of kerosene. 120 people were injured, including several policeman, wilst about 300 arrests were made. Photo shows the new Greek premier, Mr Elias Tsirimokos (left) was escorted by the Chief of Police when he visited the scenes of the rioting in Athens ans was briefed on the situation
