Feb. 02, 1968 - Swaziland Independence Conference The opening ceremony of the Swaziland Independence Conference took place at Marlborough House, London. The Secretary of State for Commonwealth Affairs, Mr. George Thomson, presided at the ceremony. Leader of the Swazi delegation was Prince Makhisini Dlamini, the first Prime Minister. Two opposition leaders who arrived in London at the week-end to picket the conference, laid across the entrance to Marlborough House, and has to be removed bu the police. They were Dr. A. P. Zwane and Mr. K. T. Samketi, respectively president and deputy leader of the Ngwame National Liberation Congress (NNLC). Keystone Photo Shows:- Mr. K. T.
