Nov. 11, 1968 - The following are photos of the violent clashes that took p[lace in different of the Montevideo, Uruguay, between students and packing plant workers, and the regime's specialized repressive forces and armed troops. Two students were killed more than 100 were wounded, some of them bravely from fragments hurled by shotguns fort bombs which disseminate the fragments over a wide area. This new repressive weapon was also used against the students of the school of Medicine. Students and workers burn old tires in an attempt to create a smoke barrier against attacking repressive forces. Students Revolt in Montevideo Uruguay
