Sep. 09, 1969 - Hippy Squatters Ask Students To Support Them In Their Siege At 144 Piccadilly: Hippy squatters who have occupied a mansion at 144 Piccadilly for the past five days sent out a call last night for students all over London to make for the 100-room home and support them. Although a High Court order has been issued for them to quit the building all attempts to remove them have failed.
