Jan. 14, 1970 - Pro-Biafra Sit-Down On Whitehall. Supporters of the Save Biafra Campaign squatting in Whitehall last night after police had barred them room from entering Downing Street to protest about the Government's policy in the conflict. A deputation was allowed to present a petition at No. 10. Demonstrators st fire to a wooden coffin with petrol but police quickly extinguished the flames. Photo Shows Pro-Biafra supporters shown just about to set the coffin alight
