Oct. 23, 1967 - Protests all over the world occurred on the October 21-22 weekend against the American war in Vietnam. In Washington, London, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo, Oslo, Munich, Frankfurt, and many other cities participants protested against the bombing campaign of North Vietnam. In the American capital a large number of politicians and troops sealed off the Pentagon from demonstrators and 250 protestors were arrested. In Germany in many cities like Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart, Hannover, Duesseldorf, Konstanz, and Freiburg protests spoke out against the Vietnam war.
