Demonstrations

Oct. 23, 1967 - Protests across the world occurred on the weekend of October 21-22 against the American war in Vietnam. In cities across the world, from Washington to Tokyo, demonstrators spoke against the bombing campaign of North Vietnam. A number of police and troops closed off the Pentagon from protestors and 250 of those protestors were arrested. Protests against the war also occurred in Germany, from Berlin to Freiburg.
