Dec. 08, 1970 - ONE - DAY STRIKERS CLASH WITH POLICE OUTSIDE THE HOUSE OF COMMONS. Thousands of workers took part today in a one-day strike against the Government's Industrial Relation's Bill. After marching from Tower Hill to Speaker's Corner, Hyde Park, they went to the House of Commons to lobby MP's, where several scuffles broke out.
