Aug. 17, 1973 - Thousands of people met at the Labor Exchange in Paris to show their support for LIP factory workers in Besancon and to protest against the occupation of the establishment by the forces of order. Piaget is a French Democratic Confederation of Labor official from LIP. Maire is The French Democratic Confederation of Labor Secretary, and Seguy is The General Confederation of Labour Secretary. They are all sitting at the podium during the meeting
