Oct. 20, 1975 - Women's Liberation movement stages a protest virgil : 60, 000 anti-abortionists assembled in Hyde Park yesterday of marching to downing Street, where their leaders handed in a letter demanding a tightening of abortion laws. The Taints had come from all over Britain in 600 coaches and were demanding the reestablishment of the Commons select committee on the abortion (Ascendant) Bill, which seeks to restrict the number of grounds under which a woman can apply for a abortion.
