1981 - Rioting Hits Brixton For The Second Night: Rioting looting and arson spread through the the streets of Brixton, in South London last night, for the second successive night running-with police using their riot shields to charge the marauding gauge of youths-most, but not all of them, blank, Police buses and vans were attacked and shape, pubs and cars act alight. By late last night 201 policeman and two police women had been injured and 213 people arrested since the weekend trouble flared up on Saturday evening.
