1981 - Rioting Hits Britxon for the Second Night: Rioting, Looting and area spread through the the streets of Brixton, in south London last night, for the second successive night running- with Police using their riot shields to charge the marauding gange of Youths-most, but not all of them, black. Police buses and vans were attacked and shopes and cars not a light.. By late last night 201 policemen and two police women had been injured and 215 people arrested since the weekend trouble Flared up on Saturdayping.
