Feb. 02, 1956 - Frenchmen Deomonstrate in Algiers on arrival of Guy Mollet the French Prime Minister. Frenchmen in Algiers staged a hostile demonstration on the arrival in Algiers of the new French Prime Minister Guy Mollet. He was pelted with fruit. He placed a wreath on the local War Memorial and after the service the wreath was torn to shreds by the demonstrators. Keystone photo shows: A student was struck by a brick thrown in front of the local high school during the demonstrations against Guy Mollet
