Demonstrations during visit of President Nixon, Brussels

Feb. 24, 1969 - Nixon arrived in Brussels Sunday night, his first stop on his European tour. A few hours before his arrival, a line of communist and pro-Chinese demonstrators, students mostly, had gone up the central boulevards of the capital crying US go home'. The demonstrators retired peacefully without causing any violence
