Nov. 19, 1966 - Munich Clashes Over Right-Wing Rally - Students Demonstrate Against NPD in Munich: Several thousand people, mainly students, clashed with Neo-Nazis last night in Munich where Hitler held Nazi rallies during his rise to power in the 1930s. The fighting broke out outside the Circus Krone arena, where the National Democratic Party (NPD) had planned to hold a rally winding up their campaign for Sunday's Bavarian State elections.
