Feb. 18, 1975 - A Deputation Of The Arts Hand Over Anti-Vat Petition To The Chancellor Of The Exchequer: Dame Margot Fonteyn, Dame Peggy Ashcroft and Albert Finney and other members of the arts, were among a deputation who went to No. 11 Downing Street to hand over the anti-vat petition to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Denis Healey. The petition calls on Mr. Healey to Scrap The Ticket Tax by giving Vat zero rating on theatre, opera, ballet and concert tickets. Photo shows.
