Hundredth Anniversary Of Einstein's Birth: Wednesday March the fourteenth is the hundredth anniversary of the birth of one of the most distinguished scientists the world has ever known. On that day, in 1879 Albert Einstein was born in Uim, west Germany. His place in the history books was gained by virtue of the frot that he was the founder of the theory of relativity. He worked extensively in Europe during the early part of the century and won the Nobel Prize for physics in 1920. Moving to prince town, USA, in the 1930's he continued to work until his death there in April 1955. He was not only a great scientists, but a simple friendly man who knew many heads of state personally.
