Dec. 12, 1955 - Secrets of New Engine revealed; Mr. Granville Bradshaw, 67 year old engineer of Eversley, nants, yesterday explains how his revolutionary new engine, the Omega works. Mrs. Bradshaw claims that his engine, by hawing only nine working parts, by reducing friction and weight, and by eliminating the conventional valve gear, is lighter, cheaper to build, gives more power, has a longer life, takes up less space, is quieter and gives more mine per gallon. This is how it works; Inside a tube like cylinder are four pistons apart in pairs. The firing stroke blows the pistons apart meanwhile the cylinder rotates bringing the sparking plug to meet the point where the left hand pistons meet and blows them apart again. This is repeated at the third and fourth firing points. Cuts in the cylinder walls set as exhaust outlets. As the pistons shuttle they turn a crankshaft. The Omega is air cooled and friction is almost eliminated, claims Mr. Bradshaw. Photo Shows Mr. Granville Bradshaw, with a full size blue print showing the front of the 280 hp Omega engine
