May 05, 1957 - Doctors Watch Operation In Colour -On T.V. Screen. Closed Circuit Transmission From St. Bartholomew: A rehearsal was held this afternoon at St. Batholomew's Hospital - for the Closed Circuit colour Television transmission which is being presented tomorrow. An operation is to be performed at the hospital - and this operation will be witnessed on TV screens at the Royal college of Surgeons, Lincoln's Inn Fields. The audience will be surgeons and doctors attending a three day meeting between the Royal College of Surgeons and the French Academy of Surgeons.
