Nov. 11, 1959 - B.B.C. to Televise two Science Internationals': British, American, French and Russian Scientists take part in two programmes, to be televised by the E.E.C. early next month, which will report on the world wide investigation into origins of life, as revealed in the study of the cell, and progress in the battae against cancer. The first programme What is Life, will be seen on December 1, and the second, The Last Scourge on December 8th Photo shows Miss Valerie Fitzjohn, of Upminster, looking at a model of Polio Virus, which will be used in the studio from which the programmes will be televised
