Nov. 11, 1958 - The New Royal Greenwich observatory Herstwonceaux castle Sussex; Giant telescope which mere mounted at Greenwich have been re erected at Dome Town Harstmoncenux Castle, Sussex. The move has been going for years - and in now complete. The famous castle is used for administrative offices - labs and library. The telescopes at housed in the specially constructed domes built in the castle grounds. Photo Shows seen in the Chronometer hating room where some 600 - 800 chronometers and watches are tested for accuracy.
